Day 47: Well we had to say goodbye to a couple trail mates and now we headed up over Glen Pass. More hiking!!

Day 46: hiked off trail to get into Bishop for a couple days. Kearsarge pass took us down to a parking lot where we all got rides into independence and then we took a bus into Bishop. Great town! Saw Jurassic World and spent a little time with my cousin Jeff!! We all had a lot of fun together at the saloon and now we have to say goodbye to a couple fellow hikers:(( Jim has to go back to London for a wedding and "Applesauce" is going back to San Diego for work... Day 45: nice easy 12 mile day over forester pass and into what has so far been the most incredible part of the trail yet!! Winding rivers, wide mountain ranges, marmots running around and crystal clear lakes from snow run off! Fed a marmot a couple peanuts and he took a sesame stick right from my fingers!! Should have got a picture! There was about 10 of us that got towards the bottom of forester pass and done in an ice cold lake just to dauber did it:) that shit changes lives! Lol
