Day 51: stumbled into vermillion valley ranch after getting my feet completely drenched from crossing a river after the hail storm. It hailed again at VVR but I had shelter this time. Cool place with great food! Hung out with "Beekeeper" and went to sleep kinda early. Once again my battery was low so only a few shots.

Day 52: July 3rd... 10 years since Bobby died and my biggest day yet!! Over 28 miles from VVR over Silver Pass to Red Meadows where a couple local bears were waiting for me! They only wanted to scan the garbage cans but I was on my toes just incase.

Day 50: did 23 miles today over Selden Pass. Only a few pics cause my phone was almost dead:/ camped about a mile or so after the pass and got caught in a crazy hail storm!! Woke up and balled all of my gear up, stuffed it in my pack and was on the trail by 4 am:// I was going to skip Vermillion Valley ranch but I decided to go and dry everything out.... Ok I drank some beers too:)

Day 49: Pretty good day. Did about 16 miles and went over Muir Pass. Lots of sketchy clouds but didn't catch much weather. Slept at Evolution Lake.

Day 48: I left camp before everyone accept Rambo got up. We hiked for a while together before she split off to spend time with her friend Julian that works for the trail maintenance crew. I haven't hiked on my own for a while. The feeling is way different for me. This part of the PCT has been getting more and more spectacular. Found a great campsite, jumped in the river to get refreshed and made a campfire before calling it a night:)
