Day 30: finished up the section through the windmills and saw Coppertone one last time. Thank you for all the root beer floats, brother!! After that we hitched into Tehachapi and grabbed a burger before checking into the Best Western Mountain Inn. Richard, Jim and I Spent 3 nights in town and took a side trip to Santa Monica to visit my buddy Ryan Duale, had lunch and hit up REI for some new gear/supplies. Went to a British pub and drove through Beverly Hills:) I would have enjoyed spending more time there but it was cool to visit for a little while! Great people watching too lol. The time off was great:)

Day 29: Kept moving through the aqueduct and took a nice long, much needed siesta! Knee was acting up big time so the rest was good. Walked through windmill farms for a good part of the day so the breeze was good;)

Day 28: got a ride from Casa de Luna and grabbed lunch at the Rock Inn. Bunch of motorcycles outside. After that we went from hiker town and made it across the aqueduct. Hot and flat but still an enjoyable walk. Ended up sleeping under a shelter at a gun range on someone's property lol
